After getting all political and calling out President Barack Obama in his UFC 125 post-fight interview with Ariel Helwani, Jacob "Christmas" Volkmann attracted mainstream attention and is currently experiencing his 15 minutes of fame. Volkmann's comments about President Obama, saying someone needed to "knock some sense into that idiot," not only got him a real-life visit from the Secret Service, but also got him lampooned on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Jacob Volkmann also works as a chiropractor and made a guest appearance on VARNEY & CO. on the Fox Business Network for an interview with the goofy Stuart Varney. The segment didn't take long to turn into one of the most unintentionally funny interviews a UFC fighter has given since Chuck Liddell was drugged out of his mind and falling asleep on Good Morning Texas.

While Jacob Volkmann doesn't offer any reason for his opposition to "Obamacare" other than it causing additional administrative legwork, he does go into detail about his UFC pay structure and chiropractic earnings.
