Lou Neglia's RING OF COMBAT 36 was held Friday, June 17, 2011, at the Tropicana Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In the main event, former UFC fighter Pete "Drago" Sell returned to MMA action for the first time in over 2 years. The Matt Serra/Ray Longo-trained fighter was released from the UFC in 2009 after losing 4 out of 5 fights in the Octagon. Drago had previously only fought 6 times outside of the UFC and 5 of those fights were in Ring of Combat, so fittingly he chose to make his MMA return in the Atlantic City-based MMA promotion. Drago scored a second-round armbar submission victory over Elijah "The Hero" Harshbarger to win the ROC Welterweight Championship.
In the co-main event, Aljamain "Aljo" Sterling won the ROC Bantamweight Championship after grappling for position with Claudio Ledesma for 15 minutes.
