KOTC: NEXT GENERATION was held Thursday, June 30, 2011, at the San Manuel Casino in Highland, California.

In the championship main event, late replacement Brendan Tierney, out of Arizona Combat Sports, started off strong against David Gomez, but Tierney began to slow down after the first round and The Shark Tank's Gomez could smell the blood in the water. "Don’t ever stop the f-cking fight on me," was Tierney's response to the stoppage by his corner. Gomez is the new KOTC Welterweight Champion. In the co-main event, Denniston "Mad Max" Sutherland won the UCMMA Middleweight Championship by knocking out MMA veteran Mark "The Wizard" Weir in the first round. In the past half decade, Weir has only won 3 times in 13 fights, although he had cast a spell in his previous fight with a big UCMMA 185-pound title win over Jack "The Stone" Mason. SHARK FIGHTS 16: NEER VS JUAREZ was held Saturday, June 25, 2011, at the Ector County Coliseum in Odessa, Texas.

In the main event, former UFC fighter Josh "The Dentist" Neer won his thirtieth MMA fight after former MFC fighter Jesse "The King" Juarez was unable to answer the bell for the second round due to a hand injury. Neer has now won 5 out of 6 fights since being released from the UFC, only losing in a non-title Bellator superfight to Bellator Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez. Juarez, on the other hand, has now lost back-to-back fights following a 9-fight winning streak.

In the co-main event, Artenas "Chico" Young won a unanimous decision over Elvis "The King" Mutapcic. After an uneventful 14 minutes of fighting, Young turned up the heat in the final minute of the fight and bloodied up Mutapcic before getting his hand raised for the victory.

KING OF THE CAGE: EPIC FORCE RESULTS: Tyler East and Jared Papazian Win Gold over Nick Gaston and Abel Cullum - 6/24/11

KING OF THE CAGE: EPIC FORCE was held Friday, June 24, 2011, at the Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

In the main event, Tyler "The Beast" East won the vacant KOTC Heavyweight Championship with a second-round TKO victory over the previously undefeated Nick "Afrozilla" Gaston. East has now won 5 straight fights, which is the total amount of fights he had when he unsuccessfully challenged Tony Lopez for the same title back in 2009. It is unclear if this technical knockout loss will affect Nick Gaston's scheduled fight in Japan in three weeks against Todd Duffee at DREAM: Japan GP Final.

In the co-main event, Jared Papazian scored a big upset win by outpointing Abel "The Silent Assassin" Cullum after 25 minutes to capture the vacant KOTC Flyweight Championship. King of the Cage does not have a featherweight division, so their flyweight division is competed at 135-pounds, which would normally be the bantamweight division. Cullum actually held the KOTC flyweight title before losing it to Jimmie Rivera, from whom it was recently vacated.
