LFC 48 RESULTS: Sean McCorkle Beats Up Tomato Can at Ironically-Named Legends of Fighting in Indianapolis, Indiana - 8/19/11

LEGENDS OF FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP 48: MEGA was held Friday, August 19, 2011, at the 8 Second Saloon in Indianapolis, IN. To be fair, the only thing legendary about this event was the supreme awfulness of the poster.

In the main event, former UFC fighter and self-nicknamed Sean "Big Sexy" McCorkle handled the 1-13 Alex Rozman with an appropriate amount of ease. McCorkle took Rozman to the mat and pounded on him with punches until Rozman did his job, and tapped out less than a minute and a half into the fight.

The co-main event was cut short by the ringside physician after the first round, thanks to multiple lacerations to the face of Jason "Jay" Buck. The carnage was caused by Kurt Kinser, who sliced up Buck's face with elbows, after Buck had pulled guard trying for a guillotine choke.

MEZ SPORTS: PANDEMONIUM 5 RESULTS: Adam Lynn, Anthony Ruiz and Michelle Ould Win in Riverside, CA - 8/19/11

MEZ Sports presented PANDEMONIUM 5 on Friday, August 19, 2011, at the Riverside Convention Center in Riverside, California.

In the main event, former WEC and Strikeforce fighter Adam Lynn won the vacant MEZ Lightweight Championship with a second-round TKO over Millennia MMA's Jason Meaders, who has now lost back-to-back fights and squandered any chance of building momentum off his huge victory over Justin Buchholz earlier this year at PANDEMONIUM 4. Lynn, on the other hand, is now 4-0 since returning to MMA in 2010 after a 2-year layoff.

In the co-main event, late replacement Anthony "El Toro" Ruiz broke a 3-fight losing streak and claimed the vacant MEZ Middleweight Championship. Ruiz scored a second round arm-triangle choke submission victory over Jason Meaders' Millennia MMA teammate Reggie Orr.

FIGHT TOUR 1 RESULTS: Tim Sylvia Beats Up Late, Late Replacement - 8/20/11

The inaugural FIGHT TOUR was held Saturday, August 20, 2011, at the Metro Centre in Rockford, Illinois.

In the main event, Tim "The Maine-iac" Sylvia rebounded from his embarrassing loss to Abe Wagner earlier this year at Titan FC 16 with a beatdown of last-minute replacement Patrick "The Bear" Barrentine. After reversing a takedown attempt, Sylvia ended up in side control and from there, he commenced to lay down the law with punches and elbows until the referee was peeling him off the Team Jorge Gurgel fighter just past the 2-minute mark of the opening round.

Felice Herrig was supposed to fight at this event, however, her opponent, Kelly Warren, came in 8 pounds over weight, so the fight was canceled.

VIDEO: TUF 14 Preview - Entire 32-Man Cast for The Ultimate Fighter 14 - 9/21/11

The UFC has revealed the entire cast for the upcoming fourteenth season of THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER: TEAM BISPING VS TEAM MAYHEM, the final season that will air on Spike TV before the move to FX, where the show will get a BIG BROTHER makeover and feature live fights combined with reality footage recorded during the previous week.

This is the first edition of TUF to feature the featherweight (145 lbs) and bantamweight (135 lbs) divisions. 8 fighters in each weight class will make it into the TUF house after fighting in the Elimination Round, which will air in its entirety in the first-ever 2-hour season premiere.

TUF 14 premieres on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, and will be coached by UFC middleweights Michael "The Count" Bisping and Jason "Mayhem" Miller, who will then fight each other at the TUF 14 Finale in December.

KING OF THE CAGE: OVERDRIVE RESULTS: Jeremy Spoon Seizes 145-Pound KOTC Crown from Donald Sanchez - 8/20/11

KING OF THE CAGE: OVERDRIVE was held Saturday, August 20, 2011, at the Riverwind Casino in Norman, Oklahoma.

In the KOTC Bantamweight Championship main event, Jeremy "Spooner" Spoon edged out Donald Sanchez with a split decision verdict from the judges after a 25-minute back-and-forth contest. The now-former champion Sanchez remains the reigning king of EPIC battles in KOTC. Donald Sanchez's two championship fights with Angelo Sanchez in King of the Cage were among the best fights of 2009 and 2010. Now, Donald Sanchez will most likely get the chance to paint the canvas again with Spoon, after losing his title in a close fight with the undefeated Oklahoman.

Professional boxer Brenda "Boom Boom" Gonzales won her second MMA fight with a second-round technical knockout over the winless Trisha Clark, a former collegiate basketball and volleyball athlete.

RING OF FIRE 41 RESULTS: Brandon Thatch Quickly Dispatches of Chidi Njokuani, Tyler Toner Stages Comeback in Denver 8/20/11

RING OF FIRE 41: BRAGGING RIGHTS was held Saturday, August 20, 2011, at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado, a suburb of Denver.

The main event was supposed to be a 5-round fight for the vacant ROF Welterweight Championship, however, Chidi Njokuani weighed in 2 pounds over the 170-pound limit, so the bout was changed to a standard 3-round, non-title fight. It turned out that Brandon "Ruckus" Thatch needed less than one minute of one round to put away Njokuani, the younger brother of current UFC fighter Anthony Njokuani. Although Thatch did not walk away with a title, the one-time Strikeforce fighter likely did draw the attention of major fight promotions with this impressive victory over another top prospect.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT 3 RESULTS: Zo Diddy Outpoints Red in Omaha - 8/19/11

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: RESPECT IS EARNED was held Friday, August 19, 2011, at 1502 Cuming Street (formerly the Tip Top Ballroom) in Omaha, Nebraska.

In the main event, Alonzo "Zo Diddy" Martinez won a clean sweep unanimous decision over Ted "Red" Worthington. Both fighters have a ton of MMA experience but have fought mostly journeyman careers. Martinez, who fought twice for Bellator in 2009, has won 9 out of his last 10 fights. Worthington is one of the busiest fighters in all of MMA. He fought an astonishing 13 times in 2010! His pace has slowed in 2011, though, as this was just Worthington's fourth fight of this year.

Josh "The Rage" Rave exploited the weak takedown defense of Lewis "Hoodini" McKenzie to win a clean-cut unanimous decision, and Sean "P-Town" Wilson choked out Ryan "Bones" Bixler early in the second round in other pro bouts.

In the main event, The Ultimate Fighter 8 alum "Sugar" Shane Nelson won by technical knockout over Aaron "Slam" Wetherspoon after Wetherspoon blew out his knee throwing a kick. Wetherspoon fell to the mat in pain, and Nelson pounced on him with ground and pound until Referee Kim Winslow was peeling him off the injured fighter.

In the co-main event, Emanuel "The Hardcore Kid" Newton won a clean sweep unanimous decision over Ricky "Ice Cold" Shivers. Both light heavyweight fighters had been on 3-fight winning streaks, but now only Newton's streak remains alive.
