British Association of Mixed Martial Arts held BAMMA 7: TRIGG VS WALLHEAD on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England, United Kingdom.
In the main event, "Judo" Jim Wallhead won a close decision over former UFC fighter Frank "Twinkle Toes" Trigg. Wallhead was a late replacement for BAMMA Middleweight Champion Tom "Kong" Watson, so not only did Trigg lose out on a title opportunity, he's now out of the title picture. Instead, Wallhead has likely earned himself a shot at Watson's 185-pound strap.
In the co-main event, Jordan Radev proved to be a formidable opponent for Paul "Semtex" Daley, and not because of his wrestling. It was thought that Radev would not want to stand and trade with Daley, but he did, and he even had some success.
