STRIKEFORCE CHALLENGERS 19: LARKIN VS ROSSBOROUGH was held Friday, September 23, 2011, at The Pearl at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card aired live on Showtime.
In the main event, Lorenz "The Monsoon" Larkin, the Carlton Banks of MMA, won a hard-fought decision over late replacement Nick "The Slim Shady of MMA" Rossborough. Larkin struggled early against the bigger fighter, but took over as the fight went along. By the fifteen-minute mark, Rossborough had been beaten and bloodied up by Larkin. This was a significant fight for Larkin, who proved he is more than just a flashy striker. Larkin has true grit.
In the co-main event, Shawn Jordan, who recently started training with Team Jackson-Winkeljohn, showed remarkable improvement. Jordan submitted Lavar "Big" Johnson. Jordan is an exceptionally talented athlete, a heavyweight fighter with a wrestling and football background, who competed in the high jump while in high school track and field. With Greg "Yoda" Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn helping Jordan put together the pieces, we may have just witnessed the birth of a legit future heavyweight force.

Advancing to the semifinals are Bryan "The Beast" Baker, Brian "The Predator" Rogers, Alexander "Storm" Shlemenko and Vitor Vianna – a collection that sounds like a ragtag supervillain team and their leader.
Bryan Baker took out Jared Hess in the third round, due to superior cardio and some fists to the face, in what was a highly entertaining back-and-forth main event fight.
Brian Rogers scored a controversial upset win over Victor O'Donnell in the co-main event. Rogers had O'Donnell on the ropes, but referee Troy Waugh stepped in too early, with O'Donnell still very much defending himself.
