In the main event, The Ultimate Fighter alum Frank "The Tank" Lester notched a TKO victory over Caleb "Fearless" Ball, after Ball was unable to answer the bell for the third round. Although he had been cleared to continue by the ringside doctor, Ball had taken a significant amount of damage in an all-out war with Lester for 10 minutes, so his corner opted to throw in the towel. Frankie Lester has now won 3 straight fights for the third time in his pro MMA career, and will have the opportunity in his next fight to put together his first 4-fight winning streak.
