PAYDAY: UFC 155 Salaries - Dos Santos vs Velasquez 2 Fighter Purses for 12/29/12


The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has released the following salary figures for UFC 155: Dos Santos vs Velasquez 2, held Saturday, December 29, 2012, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Now-former UFC heavyweight champ Junior Dos Santos was the top earner of the night with his $400K payout.

UFC 155 drew 12,423 in attendance for a $3.286 million live gate.

According to these numbers, the average paid ticket price was around $265.

NOTE: These salary amounts do not include any individual fighter endorsement earnings for this event, nor do they include any undisclosed bonuses which are commonly paid to fighters by Zuffa in private. Fighters pay out of pocket for training, licensing fees and related expenses. Fighters spend months training in preparation for these fights, so they are being paid for their work already completed in the gym, as well as their performance on fight night.
