In the main event, Jake "The Juggernaut" Ellenberger improved his current UFC winning streak to 6 straight fights with a unanimous decision victory over UFC veteran Diego "The Dream" Sanchez. With UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre expected to be on the shelf for most of 2012 recovering from surgery, Condit-Ellenberger II for the interim 170-pound title would seem to be a logical fight for later this year, despite UFC President Dana White's recent remarks that Condit would wait for GSP.
