BELLATOR 60 RESULTS: Pat Curran Puts an Irish Beatdown on Joe Warren to Win the Featherweight Title on MTV2 - 3/9/12

Bellator Fighting Championships held Bellator 60: Warren vs Curran on Friday, March 9, 2012, at The Venue at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana. The main card aired live on MTV2 and EPIX in HD. The entire card also streamed online at Spike.com.

In the main event, Pat "Paddy Mike" Curran won the Bellator Featherweight Championship with a brutal knockout of the self-anointed "Baddest Man on the Planet" Joe Warren. The world champion Greco-Roman wrestler Warren talks a big game, but now has been KTFO in back-to-back fights. Warren's early MMA success often involved him taking a beating and then coming back to win. Against the bigger, stronger Pat Curran, Warren couldn't overcome the beatdown this time.

VIDEO: Ronda Rousey vs Miesha Tate Strikeforce Fight Recap from 3/3/12

STRIKEFORCE: TATE VS ROUSEY RESULTS: Ronda Rousey is the New Strikeforce Women's 135-Pound Champion - 3/3/12

Strikeforce: Tate vs Rousey was held Saturday, March 3, 2012, at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, as part of the Arnold Sports Festival weekend. The main card aired live on Showtime, and the undercard aired live on Showtime Extreme.

In the main event, 2008 Olympic bronze medalist judoka “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey won the Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Championship in what was just her fifth pro MMA fight. The now-former champion Miesha “Takedown” Tate became the first woman to ever go beyond the first minute of an MMA fight with Rousey. But in the closing minute of the first round, Tate finally succumbed to a gruesome-looking armbar, after narrowly escaping Rousey’s signature submission move earlier. Rousey had Tate’s arm unnaturally contorted in all sorts of cringe-inducing angles before she finally, reluctantly tapped out to her archrival.
