BELLATOR 66 RESULTS: Eddie Alvarez Says "Show Me the Money" After Taking Out Shinya Aoki in Cleveland, Ohio - 4/20/12

Bellator Fighting Championship presented Bellator 66: Alvarez vs Aoki II on Friday, April 20, 2012, at the I-X Center in Cleveland.

In the main event, former Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez got his revenge on Shinya Aoki with a first-round TKO. Back in 2008, Alvarez was submitted by Aoki in Japan. Now on American soil in 2012, Alvarez was able to blast Japan's top 155-pound fighter in the face before he was able to snatch onto any limbs. This was the last fight of Eddie Alvarez's current Bellator contract, and he is now free to explore signing with the UFC.

Former UFC fighter Maiquel "Big Rig" Falcao and tourney alternate Andreas "Sweet Swede" Spang advanced to the finals of the Bellator Season 6 Middleweight Tournament. Maiquel Falco outpointed Vyacheslav "Slava" Vasilevsky to end his 15-fight winning streak, while Andreas Spang knocked out Cleveland's own Brian "The Predator" Rogers in the co-main event, a back-and-forth barnburner.
