In the main event, Brazilian MMA legend Jorge "Macaco" Patino won the LFC Lightweight Championship with a first-round knockout of late replacement Clay Hantz. Jorge Patino is now a dual champion in Legacy Fighting, as he also holds the LFC Welterweight Championship.

BELLATOR 68 RESULTS: Daniel Straus Wins Season 6 Featherweight Tourney - 5/11/12

Bellator Fighting Championships presented Bellator 68: Straus vs Sandro on Friday, May 11, 2012, at the Palladium Ballroom in Caesars Atlantic City, New Jersey. The main card aired live on MTV2 and EPIX2 in HD.

In the main event, American Daniel Straus won the Bellator Season 6 Featherweight Tournament with a unanimous decision nod over Marlon Sandro. Straus used excellent movement and good old fashioned American wrestling to stifle the usually aggressive offense of his Brazilian opponent. Straus won in all facets of this fight, leaving Marlon Sandro only to shake his head in bewilderment at his own lackluster performance as the decision was read. Straus will fight the winner of Bellator Featherweight Champion Pat Curran vs Patricio 'Pitbull' Freire, which is still to be scheduled.

In the co-main event, Marcos "Loro" Galvao earned a solid decision win over Greg Jackson bantamweight Travis "T-Train" Marx to advance to the finals of the 135-pound tournament.

TACHI PALACE FIGHTS 13 RESULTS: Joe Soto Chokes Out Chad George, Ian Loveland Wins 135-Pound Title - 5/10/12

Tachi Palace Fights 13: Unfinished Business was held Thursday, May 10, 2012, at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, California.

In the bantamweight main event, former Bellator featherweight champion Joe Soto scored an impressive second-round submission victory over former WEC fighter Chad "The Savage" George. After establishing control with a couple of takedowns in the first round, Soto imposed his will on Chad George in the second stanza until he was able to choke The Savage unconscious. Joe Soto remains signed with Bellator and will likely compete in their next 135-pound tournament.

In the co-main event, UFC castaway Ian "The Barn Owl" Loveland beat up and eventually knocked out Brazilian bantamweight Alexander Crispim to capture the vacant TPF 135-pound title.

SFL 3 RESULTS: James Thompson Wins War of Attrition over Bobby Lashley - 5/6/12

India's first and only major MMA promotion, the Super Fight League, presented SFL 3: Thompson vs Lashley on Sunday, May 6, 2012, at the IGI Stadium in New Delhi, India. The facility is fire coded to fit 10,000 attendants, but the crowd was estimated to be in the 12,500 range with fans filling the aisles. With the sport of MMA still very new to Indian audiences, tickets were given away for free to this event.

In the heavyweight main event, James "The Colossus" Thompson won a unanimous decision over former WWE superstar and Strikeforce fighter Bobby Lashley. This big man match-up was expected to produce something along the lines of a trainwreck, but instead turned into an entertaining fight that featured bursts of heavy leather being thrown around some intense trench warfare.

The UFC awarded a total of $260,000 in bonus money to 4 fighters for performances at UFC on FOX 3: Diaz vs Miller, held on Cinco de Mayo, Saturday, May 5, 2012, in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The event was headlined by Nate Diaz vs Jim Miller.
