BELLATOR 70 RESULTS: Cole Konrad Defends Title, Rick Hawn Wins Lightweight Tourney at Season 6 Finale - 5/25/12
In the main event, Olympic judoka Rick "Genghis" Hawn won the Bellator Season 6 Lightweight Tournament with a unanimous decision victory over fellow former welterweight Brent Weedman. Rick Hawn will now fight for the 155-pound title against Bellator Lightweight Champion Michael Chandler. Weedman has a new baby boy that was born earlier this month, so he'll have plenty of joy in his life to lift his spirits after this hard-fought loss.
Bellator Heavyweight Champion Cole "The Polar Bear" Konrad squashed Eric "The American Soldier" Prindle in 60 seconds flat. As was expected, the wrestler took the striker to the mat and submitted him schoolyard-style with a kimura.
Luis "Betao" Nogueira advanced to the finals of the Season 6 Bantamweight Tournament with a vicious knockout win over Hiroshi "Iron" Nakamura. Luis Nogueira will next fight fellow 135-pound finalist Marcos Galvao for a title shot against their Brazilian countryman Bellator Bantamweight Champion Eduardo Dantas.

KING OF THE CAGE: WILD CARD RESULTS: Trevor Prangley and Lyle Beerbohm Win KOTC Debuts in Idaho - 5/17/12
In the main event, a 195-pound catchweight bout, former UFC and Strikeforce fighter Trevor Prangley scored a late submission victory over a game-but-overmatched George Stork.
In the co-main event, former Strikeforce lightweight Lyle "Fancy Pants" Beerbohm padded his record with his second win since being released from the UFC's sister promotion last year. Fighting 25 pounds heavier than he did in Strikeforce, Lyle Beerbohm finished off jabroni Chris Ensley in less than a minute and a half with an armbar. Before the fight, Beerbohm correctly predicted that he would win quickly by armbar. Chris Ensley has now lost a miserable 10 (!) straight fights and had no business being in the cage with an elite fighter like Beerbohm.
