In the all-American main event, D.J. "Da Protege" Linderman captured the CWFC Heavyweight Championship with a unanimous decision victory over Mike "300" Hayes. The two former Bellator big men gutted out a tough 25 minutes. While it wasn't the prettiest of fights and paled in comparison to the rest of the sizzling main card, DJ Linderman and Mike Hayes both showed impressive endurance for heavyweights.
Intense Irishman Conor "Notorious" McGregor won the vacant CWFC Featherweight Championship with a second-round submission over Englishman Dave Hill. Conor McGregor talked trash from the weigh-ins through the in-cage pre-fight instructions, but backed it up with a dominant performance against Hill.
