Go "Notorious," you crazy one-armed bastard!

INVICTA FC 2 RESULTS: Olympic Silver Medalist Sara McMann Scores Biggest Win of MMA Career over Shayna Baszler - 8/28/12

Invicta Fighting Championships held their second event, Invicta FC 2: Baszler vs McMann, on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the Historic Memorial Hall in Kansas City, KS.

In the main event, 2004 Olympic silver medalist wrestler Sara McMann narrowly edged out Shayna "Queen of Spades" Baszler to earn a decision victory, although the verdict was unanimous and one judge confoundingly scored all 3 rounds for Sara McMann despite a strong showing from Baszler in each round. Either or both of the first two rounds could've been scored for Baszler, and the fight ended with Baszler rocking McMann with a big shot during a heated exchange.

The fantastic main event capped off an excellent night of fights. There was seriously not a bad fight on this card. This is the first MMA event in quite a while that had no worthy pick for "Worst Fight" in the Madman Awards.
