UFC 150 BONUSES: Henderson vs Edgar II Bonus Payouts - $120K for Donald Cerrone, $60K for Guillard and Bermudez - 8/11/12
After every UFC event, Zuffa officials pay out bonuses to fighters based on exceptional performances. These bonus payouts are made in addition to the contracted salary or fighter purse of each honored athlete.
UFC 150 RESULTS: Benson Henderson Retains Title with Split Decision; Frankie Edgar Furious, Nate Diaz Next - 8/11/12
The Ultimate Fighting Championship presented UFC 150: Henderson vs Edgar 2 on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
In the main event, UFC Lightweight Champion Ben "Smooth" Henderson scored a sure-to-be-debated split decision victory in a rematch with former 155-pound champ Frankie "The Answer" Edgar. The non-partisan Denver crowd vociferously objected to the decision, unsettling the usually cool-as-a-cucumber Henderson during his post-fight interview. The crowd then cheered Edgar as he spoke after Henderson. Robbery or not, with back-to-back losses to Henderson, Edgar is not going to be getting another immediate rematch. Instead, Henderson will move on to fight new lightweight number one contender Nate Diaz.
