Cage Warriors Fighting Championship presented CWFC: Fight Night 7 on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at the New Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan.

The main event saw the conclusion of the injury-riddled Cage Warriors Middleweight Championship Tournament. Ireland's Chris "The Killing" Fields captured the vacant CWFC 185-pound title with an anticlimactic third-round TKO victory over a completely exhausted Pavel Kusch. The Ukrainian Kusch blew his load early working for leg submissions on the ground. By the end of the second round, Kusch was clearly done. Referee Marc Goddard mercifully ended the fight in the third round after Kusch was reluctant to get back to his feet after being ordered to stand up.

ONE FC 5 RESULTS: Bibiano Fernandes Wins, Andrei Arlovski vs Tim Sylvia Part IV Ends in No Contest - 8/31/12

ONE Fighting Championship presented ONE FC 5: Pride of a Nation on Friday, August 31, 2012, at the SMART ARANETA Coliseum in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines.

In the main event, former DREAM bantamweight champion Bibiano Fernandes earned a unanimous decision victory over current CFC 135-pound champion Gustavo Falciroli.

Following their UFC trilogy from years ago, former UFC heavyweight champions Andrei Arlovski and Tim Sylvia met for the fourth time at ONE FC 5. The fight ended in a controversial No Contest after Arlovski dropped Sylvia with punches and followed up with a couple of grazing soccer kicks, one that landed to Sylvia's head. Kicks to the head of a downed opponent are legal in ONE FC, but they're bizarrely only allowed after the referee has given a verbal go-ahead. In this case, veteran ref Yuji Shimada had not given Arlovski permission, so the kicks were deemed illegal. The fight was waived off after Sylvia was unable to continue following a rest period.

STRIKEFORCE: MELENDEZ VS HEALY - 9/29/12 Fight Card on Showtime

Here's the official press release:
STRIKEFORCE® announced this evening that its event planned for Saturday, Sept. 29 at Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, Calif. has been cancelled. STRIKEFORCE lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez, who was set to defend his title against Pat Healy, sustained an injury in training that forced his withdrawal from the card.

Without the Melendez-Healy title bout, SHOWTIME®, which determines which fights are televised on the premium network, decided that it would not air Saturday’s scheduled event.

“When SHOWTIME informed us that it would not be airing the event, we made the difficult decision to cancel Saturday’s card in Sacramento,” STRIKEFORCE CEO Scott Coker said. “Without a television partner, we simply could not move forward with this event. We wish Gilbert a speedy recovery and will work diligently and quickly to reschedule the fighters affected by this news on upcoming cards.” Refunds for tickets purchased are available at point of sale.
