In the main event, former Strikeforce fighter Ron Stallings captured the vacant ROC Middleweight Championship with a first-round body blow knockout of former UFC fighter Mike Massenzio. Former WEC fighter Deividas Taurosevicius successfully retained his ROC Featherweight Championship with a second-round submission victory over Mike Santiago. Anthon Talamantes upset the previously undefeated Ed "Truck" Gordon to steal away the ROC Light Heavyweight Championship. And ROC Bantamweight Champion Jimmie Rivera held onto his title with a unanimous decision win over Joel Roberts.

Legacy Fighting mainstay Jeff "The Executioner" Rexroad captured the vacant LFC Interim Welterweight Championship with a second-round modified triangle choke submission victory over late replacement Lucas Pimenta. LFC Welterweight Champion Jorge "Macaco" Patino, who had to withdraw from this fight due to injury, now awaits Jeff Rexroad for a 170-pound title unification bout.

Former WEC and UFC bantamweight Antonio Banuelos dropped down to flyweight for the first time, but lost a unanimous decision to underdog Joshua Sampo.

Rookies Matt "Danger" Schnell, of MTV's Caged fame, and 2009 NCAA Division I wrestling champion Darrion Caldwell both made successful MMA debuts.
