In the main event, cancer survivor and undefeated featherweight "The Real Deal" Chris Beal earned a dominant unanimous decision victory over journeyman Shad Smith. Fellow unbeaten fighter Mike Jasper pounded out a win over Kyle Bolt in the co-main event.
Nick Piedmont and The Ultimate Fighter alum Sevak Magakian fought to a controversial split draw, in which Piedmont had appeared to win after beating the holy hell out of Magakian in the final round.
Chris "The Urban Legend" Culley scored an impressive come-from-behind victory over Tom "The Grinder" Gloudeman, who lived up to his suffocating nickname for the first two rounds before Culley went wild in the final round with a barrage of knees and punches.
Jorge Valdez opened the main card with a strangely scored split decision win over Eric Brown. One judge scored the fight 30-25 for Valdez, who was constantly attacking Brown with submission attempts, while another judge scored the fight 29-28 for Brown.
