BELLATOR 90 RESULTS: Shahbulat Shamhalaev KO's Rad Martinez, Emanuel Newton Upsets King Mo Lawal - 2/21/13



Bellator MMA Championship Tournaments presented Bellator 90: Martinez vs Shamhalaev on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The main card aired live on Spike TV as Episode 6 of Season 8.

In the main event, Russia's Shahbulat Shamhalaev won the delayed Bellator Season 7 Featherweight Tournament with a second-round knockout of Utah's own Rad Martinez. Shamhalaev earned a total of $100,000 for this tournament victory and will go on to fight for the 145-pound title against the winner of Bellator Featherweight Champion Pat Curran vs Daniel Straus (Bellator 95).

The finals were determined for both the Bellator Season 8 Light Heavyweight Tournament and the Season 8 Welterweight Tournament.
