The official UFC 178 salaries have been released by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) to the MMAjunkie.

UFC 178: Johnson vs Cariaso was held Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

These salary amounts do not include any individual fighter endorsement earnings for this event, nor do they include any undisclosed bonuses, which are commonly paid to fighters by Zuffa in private. Fighters pay out of pocket for training, licensing fees and related expenses. Fighters spend months training for these fights, so they are being paid for the work they have already completed in the gym, as well as their performance on fight night.

Newly emerged MMA mega superstar Conor McGregor was the top earner of the night with his $200,000 payout.
