Bellator MMA Championship Tournaments presented Bellator 101: Warren vs Kirk on Friday, September 27, 2013, at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon. The main card aired live on Spike TV as Episode 4 of Season 9.

The self-proclaimed "Baddest Man on the Planet" Joe Warren took advantage of a showcase fight opportunity with a stunning performance against Nick Kirk, who did his job well enough in a lively encounter with the Bellator poster boy. Now two fights removed from brutal back-to-back knockout losses, Warren looked returned to form against the overmatched Kirk, but faces a significant step-up in competition next against Travis Marx in the finals of the 4-man tourney.

Alexander "Tiger" Sarnavskiy, Saad Awad, "Ill" Will Brooks and Ricardo Tirloni advanced the semifinals of the Bellator Season 9 Lightweight Tournament. The next round of the 155-pound tourney will be held at Bellator 105, and will feature Sarnavskiy vs Tirloni and a rematch between Awad and Brooks. Awad surprisingly knocked out the previously undefeated Brooks in 43 seconds in last year's 155-pound semifinals at Bellator 91.
