PAYDAY: World Series of Fighting 3 Salaries - WSOF 3 Payouts and Bonuses for 6/14/13

The Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) has released the following salary figures for the MMA World Series of Fighting 3: Fitch vs Burkman 2, held Friday, June 14, 2013, at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The main card aired live on the NBC Sports Network.

These salary amounts do not include any individual fighter endorsement earnings for this event, nor do they include any undisclosed bonuses. Fighters pay out of pocket for training, licensing fees and related expenses. Fighters spend months training in preparation for these fights, so they are being paid for their work already completed in the gym, as well as their performance on fight night.

Josh Burkman was the top earner of the night with his $32,000 payout.

WSOF 2 RESULTS: First-Time Heavyweight Rumble Johnson Outpoints Andrei Arlovski at World Series of Fighting 2 - 3/23/13

The MMA World Series of Fighting presented WSOF 2: Arlovski vs Johnson on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Revel Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The main card aired live on the NBC Sports Network.

In the main event, former UFC welterweight Anthony "Rumble" Johnson made his long-awaited heavyweight debut with a close decision victory over former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski. The 230-pound Johnson fought in the UFC at 170 pounds, but missed weight three times before being fired. His last offense was his most egregious, when Johnson came in a whopping 12 pounds heavy for what was supposed to be a middleweight bout with Vitor Belfort at UFC 142. Instead, it essentially became a light heavyweight bout – the division to which Johnson will now return after this lone, fully puffed-up foray into the land of giants.
