The Resurrection Fighting Alliance presented
RFA 6: Krause vs Imada 2 on Friday, January 18, 2013, at the Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri. The main card aired live on AXS TV.
Former WEC and Bellator lightweight "The" James Krause won his seventh consecutive fight with a clean sweep unanimous decision victory over Toby Imada in a rematch from Bellator 14 in April 2010. The lanky lightweight Krause used his reach advantage to jab the hell out of Imada's face, methodically and masterfully breaking down his opponent over the course of 15 minutes.
James Krause was an original cast member on The Ultimate Fighter 15, but did not make it into the TUF house after losing in the qualifying round to Justin Lawrence. Krause continues to show marked improvement each and every time he fights, and this win over Imada may very well be the most impressive performance of his MMA career. In his post-fight interview, Krause humorously gave out his telephone number on live television to UFC matchmaker Joe Silva. Hopefully, after he's done being inundated with congratulatory text messages from fans, that call does come from the UFC. After this performance, there is no doubt that James Krause deserves to be fighting in the big leagues.
