Bellator executives could be heard breathing a collective sigh of relief after both Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal won their semifinal fights in the curtailed 4-man Bellator Season 10 Light Heavyweight Tournament. Thankfully the risky booking worked, and Bellator has now been served with their most marketable match-up possible between the two biggest and brightest personalities currently on their roster.

The Bellator Season 10 Featherweight Tournament quarterfinals also took place at Bellator 110. Matt "The Mangler" Bessette, Desmond "The Predator" Green, Will Martinez and Daniel "The Weasel" Weichel advanced to the 145-pound semifinals at Bellator 114. BELLATOR 108 RESULTS: Rampage Jackson KO's Joey Beltran, Vitaly Minakov Wins Title, Pitbull Wins Tourney - 11/15/13

Bellator MMA Championship Tournaments presented Bellator 108: Rampage vs Beltran on Friday, November 15, 2013, at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The main card aired live on Spike TV as Episode 11 of Season 9.

In the main event, former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson made a successful Bellator debut with a first-round knockout of fellow former UFC fighter Joey "The Mexicutioner" Beltran.

After being neutralized for most of the opening round by being pushed up against the cage by Joey Beltran, Rampage lured Beltran into a firefight with just seconds remaining in the round. Rampage caught Beltran with a debilitating left hook and then finished him off with a big right hand. The finish came with just a single tick left on the opening round clock, and put an end to the first 3-fight losing streak of Rampage's MMA career.

In the co-main event, Vitaly Minakov won the Bellator Heavyweight Championship with a first-round TKO victory over his Russian countryman Alexander "Drago" Volkov. Minakov will defend his title for the first time next season against Bellator Season 9 Heavyweight Tournament winner Cheick Kongo.

The televised portion of the card kicked off with the finals of the Bellator Season 9 Featherweight Tournament. Patricio "Pitbull" Freire dominated former Strikeforce fighter Justin Wilcox, finishing him off with strikes in less than 2 and a half minutes to win his second Bellator 145-pound tournament. After winning the Bellator Season 4 Featherweight Tournament with a unanimous decision over Daniel Straus in 2011, Pitbull was out of action for nearly 2 years due to injuries. Pitbull returned in early 2013, but failed in his title bid via split decision to then-champion Pat Curran. Since that fight, Curran lost the title to Daniel Straus. With tourney winners Magomedrasul "Frodo" Khasbulaev and now Patricio Pitbull waiting in the wings for a crack at his newly won title, Straus will face an uphill battle in keeping Bellator's most prestigious belt around his waist.
